Started Small.
Built One Yard at a Time.
Cutting Edge Lawn Care started the way most Wisconsin lawn companies start — one mower, one truck, and a founder with a work ethic. Five years later, the trucks are bigger, the equipment list is longer, the crew has grown, and the route covers a good chunk of Barron County — but the philosophy hasn't moved an inch.
Every client gets a crew that knows the property, a phone number that gets answered, and a standard that doesn't change whether it's a residential driveway or a full commercial snow contract. Jesse still runs the company, still walks every estimate he can, and still has his number on every truck — but the crew behind him is just as invested in getting the work right.
What started as residential mowing in Rice Lake grew — first into spring cleanups, then tree work, then the skid steer for grading jobs, then commercial snow contracts through the winter months. Every service we added, we added because clients asked for it and we could do it the right way. No contracts the crew couldn't honor.
Today, Cutting Edge runs four seasons — mowing routes in spring and summer, cleanups and tree work in the fall, and commercial snow plowing and deicing through every storm the Wisconsin winter sends. Same company. Same crew. Same standard.
